BetaPlanner MidTerm
BetaPlanner-MidTerm is an extension of the basic BetaPlanner product. It is specifically designed for planning of hot and cold rolling, and finishing processes. The MidTerm (also known as Weekly Scheduler) is used to generate schedules which are longer in duration than the ones produced by the basic BetaPlanner. BetaPlanner generates detailed schedules, typically for 2-3 days of production. Whereas the MidTerm provides rough-cut campaigns for several weeks taking into account longer term material flow requirements and capacity constraints.
The MidTerm Scheduling extension is fully integrated within the BetaPlanner module and uses the same input data. The medium term generated schedules reflect your company requirements taking into account the available and forecasts materials as well as other specific considerations. As for the other SteelPlanner modules, the user interface supports any common languages and can be adapted to incorporate your own specific terms.
Flexibility
The MidTerm Scheduling modules operate in different phases and leave the decision to the end-user. These phases can be organized to reflect your current scheduling rules and business plan.
